Pulse magazine recently partnered with KCWU-FM, 88.1 The 'Burg, Central's radio station in Winter 2016. In collaboration of both student medias, PULSE radio will finally debut this Friday, April 15th from 1-2 p.m. and every following Friday afternoon on 88.1 FM and online at 881theburg.com.
PULSE Radio is a great platform to hear beyond the stories of the student writers; each show will highlight a selected few stories from each previous issues and expand on their motives and experience writing the stories. Hosted by previous Pulse copy editor and writer, Mandi Ringgenberg and KCWU News Central anchor, Matt Morse. The show will not only expand on the stories, but give the readers AND listeners and insiders experience of the process of writing a story and the creativity behind the writers.
Ringgenberg and Morse will have many guest appearances on the show this Friday, including current Editor-In-Chief (EIC), Bailey Williams, and contributing Pulse writers, Nicole Trejo-Valli, "Places To Go Before They're Extinct", Joey Castonguay and Alex Sanchez, “Model Students" and Marissa Martin, "Drinking Out Cut, Sharing the Rest: Whipsaw Brewery". Don't miss out this Friday from 1-2 p.m. for the first ever, PULSE radio show!
