During my time at Central, Pulse Magazine wasn’t just a student publication – it was the launchpad for my entire career. Being part of that team from 2013 to 2014, under the guidance of Jennifer and alongside many talented peers, completely shifted the trajectory of my life and career. It provided me with the skills and experience to professionally pursue design in storytelling.

That experience directly led me to spend the past several years working across media brands at Condé Nast – from Bon Appétit to The New Yorker – and eventually leading design at Vogue. Pulse gave me my start. It’s heartbreaking to think that future students might not have access to that same kind of transformative opportunity.
