Piercings, permanent makeup and now tattoos? Ellensburg’s Hidden Gem seems to have just about it all when it comes to needles. This business is family-owned and has been operating since 2022 and has recently introduced tattoos in the beginning of 2023. So, what are the ins and outs of Ellensburg’s Hidden Gem Tattoos?

Meet the Team

Dawn Gregg and her daughter, Amber Barker, opened up the shop after living in the Ellensburg area since 1997. Barker says, “We were already providing piercing and permanent makeup services and we recognized the need for affordable tattooing in our community.” That is exactly what they did. After opening tattoo options, Amber’s husband, Cody Barker, joined the team to add his artistic abilities to the company.

Their Goals

The team’s goals seem to revolve around the community and as a family-owned business, making their clients feel like family. With over 600 followers on their tattooing instagram alone, they have quite the amount of supporters in our community. Amber says, “Our goal for our studio is to make everyone feel welcome and cared for, while providing quality services at an affordable price.”

With having such a community-based business, they also pride themselves in knowing their clients. Amber speaks out on this saying, “Our favorite part about owning a body art studio is getting to know members of our community on a personal level as well as helping them express their artistic side.”
