Liminal. Defined as: “situated at a sensory threshold barely perceptible or capable of eliciting a response,” according to Merriam-Webster. Liminal spaces are places that are ordinary at a glance, but elicit strange feelings of familiarity or uncanniness. What to make of these feelings is for you to decide.
