Cool Cat: Eric Avery
Born and raised in Tacoma, but a well travelled soul who has lived in Tennessee and frequently visits family in Wyoming, Aviation Major Eric Avery is one Cool Cat.
A recent transfer to CWU Eric is a self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie who is always on the go, whether it be on two wheels, four wheels, or with wings.
Why You Should Know Eric Avery:
His infectious positive attitude and light-hearted spirit will automatically ensure you find yourself wanting to see what Avery has in store next. A man who indulges in mechanical work and does not shy away from the blue collar life, Eric Avery has a personality which draws one in. He will not turn down a challenge, nor an opportunity to help a friend or fellow human in need. He carries a passion for animals which transfers to his work, helping on a local farm in Ellensburg, he is well-versed in caring for horses, alpaca, and chickens.
Where You Can Find Him:
When not studying in the library or plotting his next flight Eric can be found cruising his Triumph Street Triple 675 motorcycle around town, or competing in downhill mountain bike races, or sky diving, hiking, or attempting to bring a tan to his ginger-ness.
Avery wishes to fly C-17 aircraft for the Air Force which he hopes will catapult him into a commercial pilot position with Horizon Airlines.
